 Remember those great posters that you used to see around your high school (or parents’ garage)?

Grow up, get a job, and move out while you still know everything

The idea being, of course, that when you’re young and naïve you THINK you know everything when in actual reality you know almost nothing. Well, it’s like that for many people at the beginning of their professional careers as well; and I was no exception.
You may have heard about “The Four Stages of Competence”. At the beginning of my professional career, I did, in fact, have “unconscious incompetence” at work. But, thankfully, I listened to some great leaders along the way and got rid of it.

How to handle criticism as a Christian

Have you ever been accused of doing something you have never even thought about? Have you had an experience that took you off guard and got you worrying for nothing; were you accused of doing wrong behind your back and was crucified unjustly for what you knew nothing about. For weeks you could not deal with it? Did you have mixed feelings about the whole situation such that you even allowed your emotion get the best part of you by feeling betrayed and suspecting everyone around you as the culprit? As simple as the situation may seem, did it really affect your communion with God? Did you almost lost your mind and mess up valuable relationships in your life?

If your answers to the questions in the paragraph above are “YES”, then you experienced or are experiencing Annihilative Criticism.

Dear BookClub Reader, It's been a long time, yes...you can say that again. Please bear with me. Welcome to the last part of this book reading. I want to believe that we are all spirit filled after reading this interesting and powerful book together. Guess what!!! We will be reading a marriage related book  (this will be useful for both singles and married...I love to read and talk about relationships) titled "THE LOVE DARE". The Love Dare is a non-fiction marriage-related book written by Alex and Stephen Kendrick. It is a 40-day Christian devotional designed to strengthen marriages.

I bet you will love it. This reading will be done everyday starting next week Monday by God's Grace.
