The meaning of the word "gospel" is Good News. And the Good News is the birth and death of Jesus Christ. Until you share in what the apostle John testified about in 1 John 1:1...They heard...They saw... They looked at... They touched... The Word of Life... even if you know the entire bible from page to page... you might still not know the gospel.
