Frank Talk: Why am I a Christian?

I have come to realize that so many Christians today live a life devoid of purpose. This is most likely due to the way we were introduced to Christianity; as a family religion, as acceptable religion and as a social gathering.

Fellowship has lost its real essence probably due to the view of the church as a place; to meet people, while away time on a Sunday, to gain cheap fame by display of talents, to sought credible marriage partner, to get miracles, to display wealth etc.

Nobody ever wrote down a plan to be broke, fat, lazy, or stupid. Those things are what happen when you don’t have a plan.” (Larry Winget). Nobody ever wrote down to be miserable on earth and decompose in hell. That is what happens if you don’t have a purpose for being a Christian (Paraphrased by me).

Don’t you think it is better to live the way you want with the mindset of going to hell than to live a life of restriction on earth (pretending to be who you are not) and still go to hell? Frankly, I think it deserves our thought time. If you are neither cold nor hot, you have no place with God (Revelation 3: 15-16). Do not be the reason God’s name will be blasphemed (Romans 2: 24).

You need to know why you are a Christian to live like a Christian.
