This Year by
the special grace of God, we will be introducing words pen down by some Levites
of our generation on this blog. Every
month, we will have theme that would channel our discussions.
We need your
contribution this year for discussion topics that would improve our
fellowshipping together. Together as a family we will (through the help of the
Holy Spirit) attend to such questions. All you will have to do is to send a
mail to optimisticomo_tee@yahoo.com
for both question and certain responses and articles you would love to bless us
with.
To enjoy the
promises of the Lord to the fullest this year we need to adopt an approach for
a better relationship. We need to operate in a realm where nothing else matters
to us except God. Until we reach the point where we trust God so much we are
fearless and do not care about the result of certain challenges, we are not yet
ready for God.
I am talking
about the kind of faith Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego had when they refused to
worship the image of gold at the command of Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 3). They
stood their ground and declared their faith in the face of opposition. They
went as far as to declare that even if
God does not save us… they knew that the worse that could happen is for man
to kill their flesh but cannot touch their soul. They had rather die than to lose
their soul worshipping a foreign god.
They were not
anxious about what would happen to them. They had peace that surpassed human
understanding even to the point of death. These they did because they knew that
the God they serve is the Alpha and the Omega. God is the author of their
lives; He knows the end from the beginning so they can never lose in the
battle. If they lived; they’ve won. If they die; they’ve won. Anyway the Lord
allows it they are still on the winning league.
Esther had the
same attitude; she trusted God so much she didn’t mind perishing because she is
in purpose (aligned with God’s will) (Esther 4:16). Daniel is another example.
He maintained his devotion with God despite all odds (Daniel 6). Who else would
dare God if not Daniel? After experiencing or hearing the testimony of how God
saw his friends through the furnace death sentence. He didn’t mind being
consumed by the lion if that is what he needs to do to prove that he is serving
a living God.
At the end of
it all, God is glorified. The best approach to evangelism is by demonstration
of the power of God through signs and wonders. Their lifestyle practically won
souls for God. That is the realm of operation this season. Our faith is very
important for us to work with God this year for the fulfilling of His promises
over our lives which is the purpose for our existence.
Welcome to the
month of PURPOSE.
God bless you.
