There is this common saying that "Heaven help those who help themselves". Well... I don't have that in my Bible. But this I know, The way to express your faith in God is through your works.
You are probably wondering how does this dance drama reflecting the Paradox of Nigeria's Oil by Crown Troupe of Africa affects Faith and Works.
You will not understand until you watch... my favorite part is when they all decided to talk to God about the problem of the country... I see Faith... and the reminder that we need to also work.
After all, Isaac kept on digging till he had 'Rehoboth' (Genesis 26:19-22),he did not give up and wait for God to bring out water from the ground.Moses needed to raise his staff and stretch out his hand over the red sea to part it.
Hmmm... all is well in Nigeria.

Christians 'Beheaded' by Boko Haram in Gwaza
Considering all the happenings in the world today, it is a pointer to the fact that we are in the 'End Time' already. End Time did not just start, it started the day Christ said "It is finished" but so many of us are not cognizant to this fact because the things happening seems to happen far from our dwelling.
The simple fact is- We are living in the end of this Heaven and Earth. What are you living for? Today? or the Future (New Jerusalem) Revelation 21:1-2. Boko Haram is fast taking territory in some part of the country and they seem unstoppable by the Government. Where there is no fear of Boko Haram, there is fear of Ebola Virus...You cannot find safety on 'this' earth (Mark 8:35) Your safety is in CHRIST.
According to reports, Boko Haram militants are beheading young men in the Christian community in Gwoza, the Borno town that the insurgent group recently took over and declared an Islamic caliphate.

7 Ways to Identify a Wrong Relationship before It Start
We spend
just about 20% of our life living single, the remaining 80% of it will be
committed to someone we swore to spend the rest of our life with in the
presence of many witnesses. Our relationship can either lead us to heaven or be
the reason for us ending in hell. Many of us do not seek ‘God’s Will’ for a lot
of issues in life except in choosing a life partner. We tend to handle it
spiritually most of the time. However there are also some things that we can
see physically before we go spiritual. These 7 ways will not only save you from
starting a relationship that will eventually upset you but it will also help
you to guide against ‘wasted time’.

2 WAYS TO USE WHAT YOU HAVE TO GET WHAT YOU WANT
It
is easier to see what we do not have than to see what we have. Often time it is
because we believe that what we do not have is what we need to have to see the
results we desire. However this is not true.
God
is not interested in what you do not have; He is interested in what you have.
With what you have you can achieve anything even more than as much as you think
you would achieve with what you do not have.
Let
me make it simpler with biblical examples of how God used what people have to
achieve what they believe they can only achieve if they have what they do not
have at the moment.

Emotional Unavailability by Busola Adedire
I saw this article so I decided to share it with you. Enjoy!!!
The term ‘emotional unavailability’ is
one that had been hovering over my subconscious for the past few months
or so. After a series of personal struggles, I decided to sit and own up
to the truth, and it was not a surprising one either. It turned out
that all this while I have also been executing the signs and symptoms of
an emotionally unavailable individual.

You see, confronting this truth was not
easy but I believe one of the fastest ways to grow is learning to take
responsibility for one’s mistakes. At the times when I thought about
this term, I was quite oblivious of its depth; all I could identify with
was its meaning at a surface level. So, off I ran to Google to check
what this was all about.
Hilarious!!!

Why am I talking about laughter today? ok...during the evening service in church yesterday, there were prophesies and one of the things we were told to do was to laugh like we have received the promises of God for our lives. At first, the laughter was not real. So many people were putting up fake laughter and then gradually it became really interesting as people started laughing like Nitrous Oxide (Laughing gas) was released to the atmosphere.
Suddenly it occurred to me that this is how witches laugh when they gather (according to Nollywood). So I decided to throw the question out to people, why do witches laugh and Christians don't?
